Over the years, we have been longtime partners of various military veteran organizations, local sports programs, clinical healthcare nonprofits, Grace Medical Home, The Russell Home, Baby DJ, Give Kids the World as well as key partners such as the Owens Corning Roof Deployment Program for Military Veterans and Habitat for Humanity.
Since 1994, Collis Roofing has been an integral part of the Florida community through community service, outreach and care. Our care has extended even to Florida communities that are outside of our service area. This formal initiative is the Collis Cares program.
While we have provided outreach and care such as sending flatbeds full of household, food, pets and children's supplies to those impacted by hurricanes and intense storms, the care doesn't stop there.
Collis Roofing has been a long term partner with NextStep Orlando which is an internationally recognized non-profit organization that makes life-changing rehab accessible and affordable to those living with paralysis. Our goal this month is to raise awareness as well as drive attendance for the 16th Annual Walk-n-Roll-a-Thon. The event takes place on Saturday, March 21st from 5-8pm at Crane’s Roost Park in Altamonte Springs. Together, we can bring hope and the best chance for recovery, independence, and health.

The care doesn't stop there. Throughout our local communities there are vulnerable, low income families, teachers, veterans and seniors that aren't seen or known by local charities. These vulnerable people often fall through the cracks to get the help they need. Every year we identify those most in need, and perform a site evaluation to check for structural issues that may prevent us from performing the work, confirming ownership and authority to approve the work, and provide roofing services to restore these people. Those we cannot help with the work, for whatever reason, we refer them to the local agencies who can help so they won't be left behind.
