Salix on Vine Apartments are a new construction, multi-family community near the Shingle Creek Regional Park and its trailheads presented as 252 affordable luxury apartment homes with solar.
These new homes are also part of the affordable housing program for individuals and families who qualify based on the number of people in the home and their income making this roof critical to the ongoing success and resource of affordable housing for the long run.
As long time partners with the highly respected general contracting firm, Jack Jennings & Sons, Collis Roofing was tapped for this unique and innovative new housing community to install roofs on 9 buildings that included residential homes and the clubhouse.
The project not only had to meet the basic manufacturer specifications for all products and systems, but to go above and beyond in both workmanship and craftsmanship to support the extensive solar panel system for years to come.

To achieve the project's rigorous durability goals, Collis Roofing executed the installation of an induction plate welded Rhinoplate GAF 60 mil TPO roof system spanning 1,169 squares, complemented by 6.66 squares of Owens Corning shingles in the refined color of Estate Gray making this roofing project a total of 1,175,660 square feet.
All metal work was fabricated in the Collis Roofing warehouse by the experienced metal craftsman for edge metal, downspouts, gutters and more.
Due to the strict adherence to all manufacturer and roof system requirements for installation and workmanship, this roof is covered with 25 Year No Dollar Limit (NDL) warranty from GAF which covers the full cost of any failed material including repairing leaks as a result of such material as well as a 2 year workmanship warranty.
